hi. i’m fidelia!
I create botanical tattoos that are designed to flow with the body. My work is always a mix of realism and artistic interpretation-where realism captures the truth of the subject, but interpretation gives it soul.
my story
I dreamed of becoming a tattoo artist since I was a little girl. It felt far-fetched at the time, but I kept pursuing creative paths over the years.
When I did my first tattoo, I was pregnant with my daughter. It was an incredible experience—doing my dream job while she was growing inside me. I even tattooed until three days before she was born! Balancing both wasn’t easy, but it’s a chapter I will always treasure.
My inspiration comes from contrasts. Man-made beauty fascinates me because of the artistry it requires, while nature is effortlessly perfect. Growing up in Singapore as a city girl, I found myself drawn to capturing nature’s beauty in a way that feels personal and alive on the skin.
I started as a lingerie designer, which gave me an eye for how art can enhance the body’s natural lines. Later, when I moved to Switzerland, I curated antiques and vintage clothing. I spent my days researching their history and sharing their stories with buyers. It’s not so different from tattooing—both are about uncovering meaning and finding the right way to preserve it.
I also taught coding in MOE schools—a completely different role, but it taught me patience and adaptability!
I’d love to create more antique botanical wraps with a modern twist —tattoos that move gracefully with the body. I’m also drawn to pieces with deep meaning: family heirlooms, personal treasures, symbols that carry someone’s story.
