my story
People often associate happy memories with cute cartoons or pretty illustrations. I design my tattoos to make my clients smile or bring memories back every time they look at it. I chose colour tattooing as I wanted to be able to immortalize memories on skin exactly the way it would look in your head. It makes pieces feel sentimental and meaningful. I also like including amusing and fun elements in designs to make tattoos come alive.
Before being a tattoo artist I was a logistics/operations executive and a tuition teacher. My time in these jobs taught me the importance of having clear communication with clients and being reliable. It has taught me to be clear and open when it comes to discussions with clients so I can fully understand what they want for their design and for them to trust me with it as well. For us it’s a job that we do everyday, but for the client it’s a piece of our work that they have chosen to have for life.
I would love to create more colourful, illustrative tattoos that are full of texture and life. I love it when tattoos make people smile, so I am also looking into creating more illustrative designs possibly with surrealism or realism elements.
